Brooklyn's Hospital Bag

Brooklyn's Bag is Packed!

This is the one thing that is done! I've been throwing things in the diaper bag as I get them, so all I had to do was reorganize. This time around I added a few (hopefully) helpful things:
1. Diaper Bag- I got a new one that I can wash!! I love my other one but it is SO dirty and you can't stick it in the washer…not parent friendly. It will retire to a beach bag.
2. Blankets
3. Hospital Hat- a super cute girlie one! I can't wait for her to wear it!
4. Her little sister shirt
5. Her first sticker- I will be taking monthly pictures again. I love looking at Jackson's so I have to do it for Brooklyn!
6. Nursing Book- to write down times/length/side/poo color-gross but these are all things the pediatrician will ask
7. Nipple Cream- this I added from last time. I HATE lanolin. I read and asked a bunch of mommy friends who recommended the two I have, hopefully they work better.
8. Nursing Cover- this is also new. I will feel more comfortable having it since there are a million people in and out of the room.

Brooklyn is ready! Now for the mommy and daddy bags!

The usual. Just starving lately
Anything making you queasy or sick:
Seafood
Gender:
Princess!
Labor Signs:
More braxton hicks. Some cramping and pressure

Belly Button in or out?
Out
Wedding rings on or off?
Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time:
HAPPY!!
Looking forward to:
Date night :)
Workout:
I did yoga once.. it's really hot and my legs are bothering me so the thought of walking in this heat does not sound good. Yoga really helped. If Jackson would cooperate and let me do yoga I would do it more often.

To dos:
Done: We hung curtains in our room.. and we have been working on the dust ruffle. I also reorganized part of the garage. We still have a lot to do..
Left: Finish cleaning/organizing the master bath and laundry room, clean all of the baby stuff, get it all out of the garage… but next weekend is Jackson's party so nothing will get done!
Worries:
Getting everything done! Working for 7 more weeks- my legs might be the size of my belly when I'm done.
DR. Appointment:
Baby girl is in the 52% at 4.10 pounds!!!! This is WAY bigger than Jackson. She is head down with her feet up by her head! Literally feet and hands were all together. They said she looks like she has a little bit of hair (possibly bows for the hospital :) ). My fluid levels are good. They are extremely happy with her size/growth and I am FINALLY discharged from the high risk doctor. I am so happy and relieved! So now as long as she stays in the 3-4 more weeks I'll be really happy.
7 more weeks!!
4 more weeks until she is full term!! (Someone just told me 39 weeks is full term but I'm not changing it)

Symptoms:
This was a bad week. I apparently got super dehydrated during our drive to NC and woke up with the room spinning, couldn't see straight, vomiting any and all liquids that I tried to drink, etc. It was awful. Our doctor sent us to the ER where they put me on Zofran and fluids. 5 hours later they released us with more Zofran and to drink lots of water. I spent the rest of the day trying to keep water down and sleeping. I wasn't really suppose to be on the beach after that.. I felt better the next day and almost completely better two days later. There went our morning walks and hours on the beach! Ugh. And the swelling has began!
