5/6 Weeks

You two are so cute it's ridiculous!

The weeks are going way to fast!! So these two are combined oops!

Weight:  9.5+ pounds

Sleep: Sleeping all night/most of the night in the rock n play. She consistently has a four hour stretch, then three, then two.

Clothes: 0-3, size 1 diapers

Visitors:  Papa visited week 5? I think. And you had your first babysitter experience which you did greatshe held you the whole time!

Out and About: Big brother's school and events, lunches with Mimi, and the park with big brother. You go everywhere!

Baby Gear Love:
The ERGO!

Crying:  Less crying since we have switch up your eating schedule. Apparently you were getting way too much fore milk and not enough
hind milk- my supply is out of control. You seem much more content! Still if your hungry, diaper changes, the car, and trying to go to sleep.

Milestones:
Tracking objects, turning your head to sounds, smiling, cooing.

Postpartum: I have 7 pounds left. Most maternity is way too big but I can't fit into regular clothes yet either.

One Month

Happy one month baby girl! Time as always has flown way too fast. We have been enjoying your sweet snuggles, little coos, and smiles! You are such a sweet little bunny and love being held, riding in the Ergo carrier on mama, and eating. In fact you gained three pounds this month so we are switching up your feeding routine. You are exclusively breast fed baby but have had a few bottles to get you ready for mama to go back to work. The tommy tippe was way too fast but like your mama you love the Playtex nurser (go figure I should have asked mimi first).

This month you have traveled to Atlanta, went to the pumpkin patch (you slept through it), went on a few walks (which you hate), and ran lots of errands. As long as you are in the Ergo carrier you are happy as a clam. Now the car seat is another story!

You really dislike: the car, car seat, pacifiers (it's getting better), being changed, and not being held.

You love: snuggling, mama, eating, and now baths.

Milestones: You lift your head and turn it during tummy time, coo, and smile.

Vistors this month: Mimi, Poppi, Papa, (you met your cousins, uncle Dustin and aunt Laura), and lots of mommy's friends. You are one popular baby!

Your big brother absolutely adores you! He always says "Hey baby Brooklyn!" and pets your head. He loves talking and playing with you. His favorite thing is for you to lay in bed next to him.

We all love you SO much! We can't wait to see what next month brings!

3 Weeks

Week 3

Weight:  7.5 + pounds

Sleep: She is still waking up around 12,3,5/6. When does this get longer?! By the time she eats I'm only getting 2 hours of sleep and napping during the day isn't an option. Yay coffee!

Clothes: moving to 0-3 already :( this happening way too fast.

Visitors:  Brooklyn and I went to Atlanta for my best friends wedding so she met her cousins, uncle, aunt, and my best friend/ everyone at her wedding :)

Out and About: We went successfully made it through the grocery store and target with no crying with the help of the ergo carrier. She did great traveling to Atlanta! I can't say much for her daily travel since she cries everytime she's in the car...ah!

Crying:  She had three long days of crying and after I freaked out thinking she had a food allergy that was bothering her stomach (gave her some gas drops) she is fixed! She still seems to have tummy issues at night but has been great during the day.

PostpartumI have 9 pounds left!

Week 2

Week 2
This week seemed to go by even faster than the first! I also started doing more like dropping Jackson off at school and picking him up.. it's tough getting everyone out of the house on time!

Weight:  7.5 pounds! My breast milk is made of Hershey bars :)

Sleep: She always has a 4 hour stretch at night but mostly 3 hours. She hasn't been loving the rock-n-play this week but during the day she's been fine with the swing, bouncy seat, pack n play. I'm giving her two more weeks and then we are cracking down :)

Clothes: Newborn and we just started 0-3

Visitors:  Mostly mimi and poppi, a few friends, and our photographer came by for her newborn baby pictures.

Out and About:
We went on our first walk which she did great! Tried publix and target again but she was not having it. A little frustrating to say the least.

Diet:  Breastmilk still straight from the source. We may introduce the bottle this weekend but we def. will be week 3 since she will have to take bottles when I'm at work.

She had her lip clipped (really it was burned) it was sad and I hated every minute as did she but it's done! Hopefully we will see a change in nursing.

Baby Gear Love:
Ergo Carrier!!! She lives in it really, especially when Jackson's home. It frees up my hands, she naps, and Jackson is happy to play with mommy!

Crying:  BATH TIME, diaper changes, when she is hungry or wants to comfort nurse baby girl STILL will not take a pacifier. AT. ALL. I literally fed her in the Target dressing room

Milestones:
First real bath! She peed and pooed all over me! Jackson was so cute watching "booklyn swimming!" Although he hates that she cries.

Postpartum: I've lost 20 pounds so 11 more to go. No dieting or exercising here yet! I would love to start walking but it's been hard with the limited time between nursing sessions. Night sweats! My hormones are all over the place.
