Now that we know it's a BOY we can start planning! At first I was thinking I have 24 weeks that's a long time right? Not exactly. Our schedules are packed until July. And my mom and I plan on making some of the baby stuff- dust ruffle, curtains, changing pad/boppy cover (still deciding) and I'm sure a few other things. Sewing takes a lot of time itself- we have to find the patterns (yes we are actually going to use patterns this time or so we say), find the fabric (never an easy task), and then start sewing. And since I can't drink wine and sew with my mom this means I am going to be much more picky about how everything turns out. We also need to register, remove furniture from baby's room, put/buy the baby furniture and decorate with limited weekend availability. Not to mention Jamie has to get his shoulder checked out.. which could lead to a couple months of him not being able to lift or move anything. And my dad just had surgery so he's out too. That leaves me and my mama. Whew I'm exhausted already.
But since I am a PLANNER by nature. I'm always shocked when people tell me they are 36 + weeks prego and haven't done the nursery.. say what?! And why would you do that to yourself? Not to mention if the baby comes early or you are put on bed rest. These are the things I think about! haha which means little baby boy will come out a month late because I will be so ready... I have been inspired by this nursery:

Like I said before we are not painting but I do have some other great ideas instead :) This weekend we found sheets at Pottery Barn- Organic and On SALE with no shipping since we found them at the store. Sweet! This is the first step for the whole sewing process so we can pick fabric we like. Here are the sheets:
We also bought this really cute outfit when we were checking out Babys R Us today:
