Baby Boy's Crib

After researching cribs for weeks I had picked three companies I really liked. There are tons of different features to consider and my main concerns- chemicals, where the product was made, and safety. However, none of the companies were near Jacksonville. The closest I found were Ocala (2+ hours away) or Savannah (2 hours away). So on our babymoon we went and checked out the store to see if we liked them! It happened to be storming so it was perfect timing to do some shopping. And we found one we both loved! Luckily the owner had two small children of her own and gave us tons of advice. Here it is:

It is made of solid wood from Chile (very important if you want a full explanation just ask). Assembled in Georgia. It does have the safety rating for cribs- I can't remember the name now. The head board is reversible so when you go to turn it into a full/queen there aren't any holes showing where the crib used to be. And it has two level adjustments for the bed so when baby boy starts trying to climb out we can lower it. And of course it is super heavy just like the rest of the furniture I pick out :)

We also bought a dresser that we will use as a changing table. The pictures online were the wrong color but when we get it I will take some!

Now we have to wait 10 weeks until it arrives back in Savannah where we have to go pick it up! And it apparently won't fit in an SUV. We have to rent a truck.. But any excuse to visit Savannah again is a good one. And the drive was really easy.
