Sometime ago I posted about buying the Crane raindrop humidifier but I never posted my review so here we go.. I guess it works?! hahha From what I read I am suppose to have a snuffy nose and lots of nose bleeds. I have been using the humidifier almost every night and so far my nose has been good! Hooray! Occasionally I have been too tired to fill it up and those nights I don't sleep as well- that's not to say it wasn't something else. I will say that you are suppose to clean EVERY week. Ugh. I have cleaned it once but it's on the list of to do's. And apparently if you don't keep it clean it can make you sick. I will be buying the baby one for his room- all the books and my mom said you need one for the baby. And I'm pretty sure I did see a really cute whale one. SOLD.

Nursery Planning
Now that we know it's a BOY we can start planning! At first I was thinking I have 24 weeks that's a long time right? Not exactly. Our schedules are packed until July. And my mom and I plan on making some of the baby stuff- dust ruffle, curtains, changing pad/boppy cover (still deciding) and I'm sure a few other things. Sewing takes a lot of time itself- we have to find the patterns (yes we are actually going to use patterns this time or so we say), find the fabric (never an easy task), and then start sewing. And since I can't drink wine and sew with my mom this means I am going to be much more picky about how everything turns out. We also need to register, remove furniture from baby's room, put/buy the baby furniture and decorate with limited weekend availability. Not to mention Jamie has to get his shoulder checked out.. which could lead to a couple months of him not being able to lift or move anything. And my dad just had surgery so he's out too. That leaves me and my mama. Whew I'm exhausted already.
But since I am a PLANNER by nature. I'm always shocked when people tell me they are 36 + weeks prego and haven't done the nursery.. say what?! And why would you do that to yourself? Not to mention if the baby comes early or you are put on bed rest. These are the things I think about! haha which means little baby boy will come out a month late because I will be so ready... I have been inspired by this nursery:

Like I said before we are not painting but I do have some other great ideas instead :) This weekend we found sheets at Pottery Barn- Organic and On SALE with no shipping since we found them at the store. Sweet! This is the first step for the whole sewing process so we can pick fabric we like. Here are the sheets:
We also bought this really cute outfit when we were checking out Babys R Us today:
And our really sweet friends bought us the cutest clothes!!!
And this should make you laugh:

It's a ..... BOY!!!!
I was really wrong with this one! I feel asleep Tuesday thinking it was a girl, we had the name picked out and everything. But when we were waiting in the waiting room the sweetest little boy was sitting near us just staring. Right then I was like hmm maybe it is a boy! The ultrasound tech gave us some really cute and sweet shots of the baby- who was drinking the amniotic fluid- as a speech pathologist this was the COOLEST thing to see. I have seen a million Modified Barium Swallow studies but never have I seen a baby in the womb drinking!! So then she goes down by the legs... and she says do you see anything? I thought I did but since I was still convinced it was a girl I kept saying no, no, no. Then she zoomed in and said there's the penis!!!! Jamie was screaming! I was just as excited! From the beginning I have always wanted a boy first so that one day our daughter can have a big brother. And since it's our first it didn't matter what it was as long as it is healthy! I am a little disappointed I don't get to buy any ribbons or bows but hopefully one day I will! And now we have to figure out a name!!!! I hate saying "baby" he needs a name! Jamie is not convinced that we need one right now... Anyways so here are a few very cute pictures!
And most important she said he looked very healthy and the umbilical cord looked good as well. AND they gave us a DVD of the whole thing :)

Happy 6 month anniversary!!!!
Saturday was our 6 month anniversary! We spent Friday night eating dinner at the beach- seafood yum! I was so excited to eat seafood and it was delicious. I am allowed to have 12oz once a week so I have saved up. It was beautiful outside! We sat outside for dinner and watched the a million and one children and babies that were out and about. Every table had at least 2 children under 2. Crazy!
Saturday we spent the whole day at the beach. It was perfect out, not too hot and just enough wind! Jamie taught me how to catch sand crabs-ekk! He was shocked that I had never done this before... um I grew up on a LAKE. hahah We found a dead blue crab which I had never seen before. And I found some awesome shells for my next creation... After the beach we (Jamie) had to get an Irish car bomb for St. Patty's day and an Irish beer. I ate. Then we headed home, checked out our sunburns and watched a movie. It was the perfect day! We can't wait to head back to the beach next weekend!

Home Improvement
I was waiting until we got a mirror for the wall near our kitchen table but I am having trouble finding one I like so here is our new kitchen table!!!
And I have been working on my goal of organizing every week before we get started on the baby's room. This week was organizing the laundry room.. it was awful before I couldn't even take a before picture. But here is the end result:
| Here it is!! It fits 8 people with the leaf. LOVE! |
| I made that beautiful flower arrangement :) Eventually a mirror will go where the Eiffel tower picture is. |
